Hole Is Mine Named BIC 2026 Awards Finalist for Excellence in Experimental

Shanghai, China – August 17, 2026 – Incrementalist and SpaceJazz Games today announced that Hole Is Mine was named a finalist for Excellence in Experimental in the General Division at the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026 Awards.

The BIC Awards honor standout titles from the festival’s competitive General Division. Hole Is Mine was one of five finalists in Excellence in Experimental, appearing on the main-stage shortlist at BEXCO alongside Travelling Light, The Laurencia, Witch’s Lounge, and Cold Cases.

The nomination follows Hole Is Mine’s Official Selection for BIC 2026 and its Steam launch on August 10. During the offline festival, August 14–16, Incrementalist exhibited the game on the show floor, where attendees played the Mini’Oh mining loop and village-building fantasy in person.

Hole Is Mine is an incremental adventure about purifying a divine Hole: players dive in, launch Mini’Ohs to mine automatically, extract impurities, unlock deep upgrade paths, and rebuild a village as customized companions gain new powers. SpaceJazz Games is co-publishing the title with Incrementalist.
