Shanghai, China – April 20, 2026 – Molter and SpaceJazz Games today announced that Chipmatic, an incremental factory-building mining adventure, is now available on Steam.

First introduced through a public demo in December 2025 and later featured in Steam Next Fest, Chipmatic expands that early underground loop into a full release. Players guide a mining robot through ruined strata, unlock blueprints, research technologies, and assemble automated production chains while managing fuel, power, and mobility upgrades.

The fantasy sits between cozy automation and soft mystery. Building a cleaner factory is satisfying on its own, but the deeper pitch is narrative: each descent asks what happened to Earth and what the robot was meant to find. Compared with pure number-go-up incrementals, Chipmatic leans on spatial digging, equipment upgrades, and environmental discovery.

Launch-week Steam reviews settled at Mixed as the community debated late-game balance and pacing — feedback Molter began addressing with rapid day-one and week-one patches. SpaceJazz Games continues as co-publisher following the Asian partnership announced alongside the demo.
“From demo to Next Fest to launch day, Chipmatic has earned its audience one dig at a time,” SpaceJazz Games stated. “The full game is ready — we invite players to build the ultimate factory.”
