Shanghai, China – July 14, 2025 – Incrementalist and SpaceJazz Games today announced that Astro Prospector, an incremental bullet hell about mining cofferoids and battling the corporation SpaceCorp, is now available on Steam.
Astro Prospector splits its fantasy between arcade intensity and long-term growth. In the moment, players pilot a ship through bullet patterns while mining resources from contested space. Between runs, those resources fund upgrades, unlocks, and power spikes that permanently change how dangerous — and how absurdly overpowered — subsequent sessions feel.
Story Mode stretches across roughly two dozen zones with unique enemy machines and boss encounters, wrapping a short-but-dense incremental campaign around the bullet-hell core. The fantasy is simple and sticky: steal AstroCoffee seeds, grow stronger, and push back against SpaceCorp one upgrade at a time.
Early reception was immediate. Astro Prospector quickly built a Very Positive Steam rating across thousands of reviews, with players praising the clarity of the loop and the dopamine of incremental breakthroughs. A later free expansion, Endless Coffee, would add a survivors-like ship-builder mode — but even at launch, the base game established Incrementalist as a studio to watch in the incremental genre.
SpaceJazz Games is co-publishing Astro Prospector, supporting its reach across Asia and beyond.
